I'm trying to learn how to use my Canon 100mm 2.8L Macro lens, with my 5D mark IV.
Hi...I am H. Scott Burd. I’m 59 and married to my best friend, soul mate. We have eight kids between us and 6 Grandchildren. I have been into photography since I was a teenager. I had a Ricoh film camera with a J C Penney flash. I love to travel and take photographs of anything and everything that catches my eye. I now have a Canon 5D Mark IV, Tamron 150-600mm, Canon 100mm 2.8L macro, 50mm f1.8, Canon macro ring lite. I am slowly getting into macro photography. Lastly I would like to thank all of my followers and everyone that has visited my work. I am truly thankful and hope you have enjoyed my photography.

Very cool photo. Beetles are the largest group of insects and most are actually beneficial. One of my favorite groups of animals as the variety is mind boggling. Just so cool to see them. And your close up is spectacular.
